The World’s first Night Safari, set in 40 hectares of secondary jungle, will unfold the mystery and drama of the tropical jungle after dusk with stunning effects. See a myriad of nocturnal animals, from fierce predators to timid forest dwellers, in their natural habitat under subtle moon glow lighting. The lily-pond framed ArtScience Museum is a perfect embodiment of its name - Art and Science. The iconic lotus-inspired building is meant to symbolise the welcoming hand of Singapore with its ten fingers. These are supposed to be petals with a unique circular base that holds them together, portraying a structure similar to that of a concrete lotus flower. Each of the fingers features different gallery spaces, and hosts skylights at the fingertips, illuminating the interior curved dramatically. Not just this, the museum is designed in an eco-friendly way where the roof channels rainwater from the atrium, at the centre of the building, to a small reflective pool which contributes in making this place an architectural wonder.
