1. Package Itinerary

On arrival at Jodhpur pick up and drive to hotel, you could relax a bit and get refreshed to take on some sightseeing. Visit one of the largest forts in India, the Mehrangarh Fort has many palatial rooms, a whirling staircase, gardens, courtyards and museums that well preserve the intricacies of the Rajputana architecture and design. Since rest of the day is at leisure, you may enjoy your time as per you please. Suggested: You could indulge in some textile and antique shopping at any of the vivacious bazaars in the city. When you wish to relax, you can return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. (You could go ahead and build your itinerary for the day by choosing from the various activities offered through the ?Activities? tab. In early morning check out from hotel and drive to Ajmer,later visit Pushkar later in evening drive to Jaipur. On reaching at jaipur check in to hotel and later overnight stay at Jaipur.

Today, you would be taken to the plush and royal monuments of the city, namely Amber Fort, City Palace Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall Museum. Start this day by exploring the historical past of Jaipur through its most prominent monument, the Amber Fort. This fort, also known as Amer Palace is an architectural wonder comprising of several buildings and structures that once used to be the humble abode of the several generations of the Rajputana clan. The City Palace is an amalgamation of courtyards, gardens and structures that present a striking blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles of architecture. The buildings inside this complex denote different eras of royalty, some even dating back to the earlier

parts of the 20th century. Right opposite this structure is situated the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the world?s largest stone sundial. Hawa Mahal, located at a walking distance from Jantar Mantar is an extraordinary pink sandstone building. Its unique construction with many small windows and coloured glass enabled the ladies of the royal household to witness the happenings and processions of the city, while maintaining their presence a secret. Also, visit the Laxmi Narayan Mandir, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his companion Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and good fortune. Situated in the northern region of Rajasthan, Bikaner is one of the earliest established cities in the state. It has arid and beautiful sand dunes scattered around, primarily in the north-east and southern directions. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort that also goes by the name of Sonar Qila or the Golden Fort. Its grandiose structure rises from the desert surrounding the region, which becomes a treat to the eyes when the sun sets below the horizon. The Fort complex houses three beautifully sculptured Jain temples built between the 12th and 13th centuries, and also the five interconnected palaces. There is a palace museum that has on display a rich collection of imperial dresses and artefacts; all these ornate materials belong to the royal family of Jaisalmer. When you are done absorbing the beauty of this place, move towards the quaint and picturesque Patwaon ki Haveli, one of the most elaborately carved structures in Jaisalmer. Nestled cosily in a narrow street, it has five storeys that exhibits magnificent mirror-work art and a few paintings. After this, visit the quaint and peaceful Gadisar Lake. This water body is a man-made reservoir that was constructed by Maharawal Gadsi Singh in the 14th century to solve the water scarcity problems in the arid land of Jaisalmer. The availability of water here attracted the construction of many small temples and shrines nearby, making it a popular tourist spot. In the evening, visit the Sam sand dunes located about 41 Kms west of Jaisalmer. These sand dunes are one of the most popular excursions from this beautiful city. You could enjoy a camel ride/camel cart ride to the Sunset Point and the Sam Sand Dunes (direct payment basis), while the sun slowly sets below the horizon in the background. As the day comes to an end enjoy a cosy overnight stay at the hotel.
